University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) College of Nursing Admission Form for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin, College of Nursing application form for the 4-year OND/HND in Nursing program is now available for 2025/2026 academic session. Read on to check the details and other application forms available in the institution.

The ND/HND in Nursing Program is a 4-year uninterrupted program recently approved for the institution and an upgraded program from the 3-year Basic Nursing program. Please note that JAMB UTME is now required for admission into UITH Nursing program from 2025 onward.

UITH School of Nursing Admission Requirements

1. Candidate must have written 2025 JAMB with the following subject combination; English- language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
2. Candidate should have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 JAMB.
3. Candidate who did not choose college of Nursing Sciences, UITH as their first choice are to proceed to the nearest JAMB accredited centre to effect the change of institution to College of Nursing Sciences, UITH, ILORIN as their first choice
4. Candidates must not be less than 16 years of age as of the time of application.
5. Candidates must not have any criminal record.
6. Candidates must not have any deformity of the hands.
7. Candidate must have Five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in WASSCE/NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.
8. NABTEB is accepted but cannot be combined with any other O’Level Certificate (WASSCE/NECO)

How to Apply for the UITH College of Nursing Admission Form

Applicants are to proceed to UITH website www.uithilorin.org.ng to fill the application form and make payment of N 10,000 through the Remita platform only into UITH GENERAL PURPOSE ACCOUNT.  To make the payment kindly follow the steps bellow:

• Go to remita.net
• Click on Pay FGN and State TSA
• Select and click FGN Federal Government of Nigeria
• Type University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital on whom do you want to pay
• Select UITH GENERAL PURPOSE on Name of Service/Purpose
• Fill in all other information and make your payment.

After making the payment, applicant can now proceed to complete the application process. All payment receipt must be submitted to the Bursary Unit for verification of payment. Please note that cash payment or transfer to individual accounts are not allowed.

Application Documents

Candidates are to upload scanned copies of the under-listed on the portal during registration to purchase the application form and also come to the screening centre with hard copies.

1. JAMB result slip.
2. JAMB change of institution slip.
3. Original O’ LEVEL certificate.
4. Birth certificate [National population commission].
5. Print out of application form.
6. Passport photograph
7. Printout of the Remita receipt.

UITH ND Nursing Entrance Exam/Interview Date

• Entrance Examination/Interview will be held on 5^th and 6^th August, 2025.
• Venue: ICT Centre, Schools’ Complex, Amilegbe, Ilorin.
•  Resumption Date: 6^th October, 2025

NB: The above dates are subject to changes by the management. Candidates are to dress corporately for the Screening/Interview.
