All You Need to Know About O’level Results Uploading to JAMB Portal for 2024

When will JAMB 2024 O’level Results Uploading Start?

O’level Results Uploading to JAMB Portal for 2024 has commenced and is still ongoing. This uploading is available since the commencement of 2024 JAMB UTME/Direct Entry registration and candidates whose results are available as at that time uploaded it, while others whose results are not available used ‘awaiting results’ option.

When is the Right Time to Upload O’level Results to JAMB Portal?

Due to the way JAMB server works, or the way some of the systems works, it does happen that the initial results uploaded get cleared (because JAMB CAPS is not active yet) or at times, may contain errors, this is when re-uploading is advised.

To answer the question succinctly, the best time to upload O’level results to JAMB Portal is when the CAPs is available, the JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System) for 2024 admissions has been activated as at now.

Yes, O’level results and others can be uploaded twice, unless JAMB stated otherwise. Also the cost of O’level Results Uploading ranges from N300 to N1000 depending on the location and CBT center.

Is 2 Sittings Allowed to be Uploaded, and How?

Yes, 2 sittings of any combination of WAEC-WAEC, WAEC-NECO and NECO-NECO results is allowed to be uploaded to JAMB CAPs. How this works is that, if the first result is deficient in some subjects, the result for the affected subject will be picked from the second result provided, to make up to the 9 subjects that needed to be uploaded (only 9 subjects can be uploaded), not that about 18 subjects in both results are uploaded, however, the picture of both results will be attached to the uploading.

How to Upload O’level to JAMB Portal?

To upload your O’level results to JAMB Portal, you will need to visit the nearest CBT Center with a copy of the printed result from WAEC, NECO or other board portals, not your secondary school-typed copy with your profile code or JAMB registration number.

Note the following;

  • Candidate cannot upload his/her result himself/herself to the portal
  • Cafe cannot upload results, but they can do so if they work with a CBT Centre.
  • Only CBT centers and JAMB Offices can upload O’level results
  • O’level results uploading can be done without the candidate being present.
  • You can confirm your O’level is uploaded via the screenshot sent by the operator or by logging in to your JAMB CAPs portal and check “My O’level Section.
