UNIOSUN Releases Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Session

The management of Osun State University invites all candidates who have applied for admission into the Institution for the 2026/2027 academic session to register online for the Post-UTME/DE screening exercise. Read on to know the application details and how to apply.

Eligibility for UNIOSUN Post UTME 2026

• Candidates who choose Osun State University as their first choice
• Candidates must have a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME Examination
• Candidates who scored less than 200 marks would not be considered for admission into any of the underlisted programmes: Law, Nursing, Medicine (Put on hold for 2026/2027 academic session), and Islamic Law. Meanwhile candidates who chose any of the above mentioned courses but scored less than the prescribed marks can change to any other relevant programme of their choice.
• Note: Please change school or course if you apply for Medicine in 2026 admission.
• In line with the extant national policy, any candidate who will be less than Sixteen(16) years of age as of 30th September 2026 needs not to apply.
• Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects including English Language and Mathematics (NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) SITTING.)
• For Medicine, Nursing, Islamic Law and Law, candidates are expected to have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO in the relevant subjects at one sitting.
• The University may accept minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates. 
• All candidates who eventually get admitted will undergo mandatory medical examination, which includes screening for drug use.

How to Apply for UNIOSUN Post UTME Form

• Candidates are to register online by accessing the University’s website to complete and submit an application. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission.
• Visit the UNIOSUN Post UTME Portal via http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the online Application Platform. Ensure you read all registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.
• Payment of portal access fee is N3,000, and the Post UTME Screening fee is N2,000, payable through the Remita Web PAY Platform for the Post UTME Screening.
• We implore candidates to note that in the unlikely event of difficulty in accessing the admission portal, please wait for 30 minutes and try again or at any other convenient time.

UNIOSUN Direct Entry Application Details

• Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line by accessing the University website: https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng and submit an application and ensure that they read the admission requirements of the university before applying to any of its programme.
• They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University not later than Friday 4th September, 2026. ALL Direct Entry candidates including those on UNIOSUN (IJMB, JUPEB) Programme, who wish to be considered for admission for the 2026/2027 academic session must have obtained Direct Entry Form from JAMB. They must also apply for the screening exercise.
• Candidates should meticulously provide their details on the University Portal. Any candidate that supplies false information would be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidate withdrawn once discovered. Any fee paid by any candidate that falsifies record/document will NOT be refunded. Candidates awaiting results should supply it within one week of release. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

UNIOSUN Mode of Admission 2026

UNIOSUN uses the results screening mode (JAMB and O’level) to determine the admission points of candidates, it is important for candidate to have chosen UNIOSUN as first choice before the deadline for application. Candidates who applied but did not make UNIOSUN first choice will not see their screening score, hence, will not be eligible for admission which is processed via JAMB CAPS. Few days after the application ends, the screening score will be available on the portal of candidates for them to view, after which the school will release the departmental cutoff marks, those who passed this screening cutoff marks are eligible to be offered admission into their department of choice, for those who are below the cutoff mark,, there will not be supplementary course to be offered.

Change of Institution to UNIOSUN

• Candidates who are willing to change from other Institutions to make Osun State University their first choice are also eligible to register for the Post-UTME Screening exercise.
• However, candidates who made UNIOSUN their first choice but could not find their names on the first choice list should use the “OTHER CHOICE” option for their screening registration and supply their correct information which will be verified accordingly.
• UNIOSUN will upload the data of those who changed to the institution before the screening ends.

UNIOSUN Admission Consideration Via JAMB CAPS

The 2026 Admission Exercise will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions. All candidates are advised to upload their O’ Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.
