As of Sunday, 13th April 2025, here are the latest developments from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) regarding the 2025 UTME and Direct Entry:
JAMB UTME Mock Exam Result Released
The 2025 JAMB Mock Examination took place successfully on Thursday, 10th April, 2025. It was a one-day exam held across all accredited CBT centres nationwide.
Candidates who participated in the mock can now check their results online by sending an SMS with their registered number in the format “MOCKRESULT” to 55019 or 66019.
2025 Direct Entry Registration Deadline Extended
Contrary to earlier announcements, JAMB has extended the registration deadline for Direct Entry (DE) 2025. Initially expected to close on April 7th, the process will now remain open until Monday, April 21st, 2025. Direct Entry registration began on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, and the extension gives more candidates an opportunity to complete their application.
Main UTME 2025 to Begin April 25th
The official date for the commencement of the 2025 Main UTME remains Friday, 25th April, 2025.
For now, no changes have been made to this schedule.
The examination is expected to run for about two weeks, as usual.
UTME Reprinting Date Yet to Be Announced
JAMB has not officially confirmed the reprint date for UTME examination slips. However, it is expected that JAMB reprint will be available around 5 days to the exam. Candidates are advised to stay alert, as the announcement of the reprint date and procedures will be made soon via official JAMB channels.
