The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) predegree programme is a remedial program for young students who have completed secondary school education to prepare them ahead of university life.
Duration of the program is 9 months, starting from November 4, 2025.
Candidates will take lectures at the Moro Campus, Osun State for the period and are mandated to stay in the school provided hostels.
Will I write JAMB as Predegree Student?
Yes, predegree students will write JAMB (2026) while still in the program, they must score above 200, and a competitive score if going for competitive courses. The JAMB score, Olevel and Predegree score are added to give them admission into Degree program (100Level) in OAU at the end of the 9 months.
Will There be Entrance Exam?
Yes, OAU Predegree Candidates write an online entrance exam before starting the program. The exam can be done from any location in Nigeria without having to come to the school. The questions are based on subject combination of the candidate, has 30-40 questions and graded on 100%. The pass mark is 40%. While the entrance exam is simple, lack of preparation makes some students score below pass mark. A candidate who scores below pass mark can reapply if the form is still open.
School Fees and Getting The Form
- OAU Predegree School Fees: School fees for 2025 session is 434,000 naira including accommodation and tuition fees. No other extra fees.

When will OAU Predegree Form Close?
The form for this batch will close October 31, 2025
Entrance Exam for Predegree Candidates
Online entrance exam will hold tentatively October 22nd, 2025. Candidates who passed the entrance exam are enrolled into the program and are expected to pay at least 1st instalment of the school fees before resumption. The examination portal is www. exams.oaucdl.edu.ng, candidates will login on exam day using their application number and surrname.
