Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Pre-Degree Science (PDS) Programme Admission Form for the 2023/2024 academic session is available to interested applicants for various science courses.
Duration of Programme
The programme is expected to run for six (6) calendar months and with an intensive compulsory 3
months ICT programme.
LAUTECH Predegree Admission Requirements
- Applicants should possess five O’ Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB at not more than two sittings from English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Economics, Geography, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Business Studies, Government, Literature in English, Civic Education, History, Yoruba and CRS/IRS.
- Applicants with deficiency and or awaiting result(s) in the subjects listed above are also eligible to apply pro-visor the result(s) will be available before the completion of the programme.
Available Programme Choices
Applicants have the option to select two undergraduate programmes from the provided list divided into Groups A and B. Each candidate is required to choose only one programme from any of the two groups, ensuring the two choices do not belong to the same group. Note that the B. Tech programme spans five years, while the B.Sc programme lasts four years.

Method of Application
- (1) A prospective Applicant is expected to proceed to https://apply.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of Ten thousand Naira (N10,300:00) only; for the Application Form and registration online using Interswitch-enabled Debit (ATM) Card
- (2) Each applicant is expected to carefully complete and submit the online Application Form. An incomplete Application Form will not be treated.
LAUTECH Pre-degree Form Closing Date
The closing date for the submission of Application Form is Sunday, 3rd December 2023 (Extended till January 30, 2024). Each applicant must ensure that the Registration Confirmation Slip bearing his/her passport photograph is downloaded and printed as evidence of successful submission of the form.
Please, note that late completion/submission of Form will not be entertained.
LAUTECH Pre-degree Entrance Examination
The entrance examination for successful applicants takes place at designated venue(s) and time as may be indicated on successful applicants’ registration confirmation slips on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Applicants are to please, note that the entrance examination will be Computer Based Test (CBT). New Exam date will be set for January applicants.
Placement into Degree Programmes
Placement into degree programmes will be based on performance at the end of the programme, admission requirements, vacancy in the desired degree programme, and participation in the ICT Intensive Training. Also, all intending applicants are to ensure they obtain 2024 UTME Form, sit for the examination and pass with the minimum cut-off mark as may be determined by the University Senate.
