The announcement of the extension was made by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, on Sunday, April 23, 2023 [reference 2].
However, JAMB has also postponed the continuation of its ongoing Direct Entry (DE) registration exercise ahead of the 2023 national census exercise. In a statement released on Sunday, April 23, 2023, the board’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, announced the postponement of the exercise without indicating when it will resume [reference 3]. The statement, however, gave a deadline for the e-PIN, which is required for the registration. Candidates who have not yet obtained their e-PIN are advised to do so on or before April 30, 2023, as there will be no further extension.
