How to Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS 2026

JAMB has now made it possible for candidates to confirm or decline their admission offers via SMS using their registered phone number.

Before Accepting Admission

Ensure to check your admission status on JAMB Efacility website, and you have seen “Congratulations You Have Been Offered Admission” on your JAMB CAPS. Once you see this, proceed to follow the steps below to accept your admission yourself.

Here’s what you need to do: 

• 1. Make sure you have enough airtime on the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
• 2. Type your JAMB Registration Number, leave a space, then type ACCEPT or REJECT.
• 3. Send the message to 55019.
• 4. Ensure you have at least airtime of 50 naira before sending the SMS

Keep checking your JAMB CAPS frequently so you’ll know the moment you’ve been offered admission and can take action immediately.

If you no longer have access to the phone number linked to your JAMB profile, visit the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to complete the process or message us to do it for you.
