UNILAG Releases 2026/2027 Departmental Cutoff Marks, Begins Uploading Admission List to JAMB CAPS

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially released its UTME merit admission cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session. At the same time, the university has commenced uploading admission offers to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Some candidates have already started seeing changes on their JAMB CAPS dashboard, including messages such as “You have been proposed for admission.” All UNILAG aspirants are advised to regularly monitor their JAMB CAPS and check for updates on their admission status.

Below is the list of departmental cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 session. These figures are for merit and catchment areas (Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo).

What You Should Do Now

1. Check your JAMB CAPS regularly: If you see “Proposed for Admission,” your admission is being processed. Do not panic. Monitor the portal for updates.
2. Confirm you meet the cut-off: Compare your JAMB score and Post-UTME aggregate with the merit cut-off for your chosen course.
3. Upload your O’Level results: Ensure your results are uploaded on the JAMB portal if you have not done so already. You can do this at CBT center near you.
4. Prepare to accept your offer: Once your status changes to “Admitted,” log in to JAMB CAPS to accept or reject the offer.
5. Beware of fraudsters: Do not pay anyone who claims they can change your admission status. All official communication will come through the university and JAMB CAPS.

UNILAG 2026/2027 Admission: Deadline for Direct Entry Application Extended

All prospective Direct Entry candidates for the 2026/2027 admission exercise are hereby informed that the deadline for submission of the Direct Entry Application Form on the University of Lagos (UNILAG) portal has been extended by one (1) week to Tuesday, 29 September 2026.

Candidates are strongly advised to complete their applications within this period, as no further extension will be granted.
