Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has announced a change in the schedule for its 2026 Post-UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the 2026/2027 academic session.

The screening, which was initially scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 1st September to Saturday, 5th September 2026, will now take place between Friday, 25th September and Wednesday, 30th September 2026.

This adjustment gives candidates additional time to prepare and complete their registration.

How to Check OAU Screening Schedule

Candidates who have successfully completed their screening registration can view their assigned screening date and time by logging into their profile on the screening portal. Access to screening schedules will be available from Wednesday, 16th September 2026.

Registration Deadline Extended

The final deadline for registration has also been extended. Candidates now have until Wednesday, 23rd September 2026 to complete their registration.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

The university has released the following important guidelines for all candidates:

  1. The University Website (https://oauife.edu.ng) and official social media channels remain the only authentic communication and information sources for the screening exercise. Do not rely on unofficial sources.
  2. Candidates will be required to present themselves physically for the screening exercise. Ensure you are available on your assigned date.
  3. The screening registration page remains active at:ย https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions
  4. Detailed screening exercise guidelines can be found at:ย https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admission-guidelines
  5. OAU does not endorse or encourage candidates to patronise Post-UTME or admission agents. All applications should be done personally through the official portal.
  6. All enquiries should be forwarded to:ย postutme2026@oauife.edu.ng

What to Do Now

  • If you have not yet completed your registration, take advantage of the extended deadline to do so. Ensure all your details are correctly entered and that you print out your photocard and registration slip.
  • Ensure to also upload your O’level Results to JAMB portal.
  • Get Past Questions to practice and enroll into a reputable tutorial if needed.
  • Check your email and the school portal regularly for updates. Your screening schedule will be available from 16th September, so log in on that day to confirm your date and time.
  • If you would like to consider alternatives, OAU Predegree and OAU JUPEB Forms are open.
