University of Benin (UNIBEN) Releases 2024/2025 Post UTME/DE Admission Form

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Post-UTME Screening Form is now open for the 2024/2025 academic session. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply online from 16th August, 2024.

Eligibility for UNIBEN Post UTME

• Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME admission are eligible.
• Applicants must have chosen UNIBEN as their first choice.
• A score of 200 and above in UTME is required for eligibility.
• At least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent are necessary.
• Subjects must include English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects, not more than two sittings.
• Candidates must have a valid e-mail account before starting the application.
• Awaiting results is allowed.

Method of Application to UNIBEN

Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.

• Visit www.uniben.edu Click on Student Portal;
• Select the WAEUP PORTAL.Click on Applicants and then select UNIBEN ADMISSION SCREENING 2024/2025
• Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed. Enter your Surname Exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip, and JAMB Registration number. Immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser
• Back On waeup.uniben.edu click on ‘Login’ (top right of the front page). Enter your username and the password to login.
• To start the application process, please click on ‘Application record’ and provide all required information.To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N 2,000:00; with a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria
• Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
• Go back online on the appointed date (Thursday 3RD OCTOBER 2024) to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule

Screening Details and Course Groupings

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2024/2025 is scheduled from Monday, 7th October 2024, to Saturday, 12th October 2024.

• The screening will occur at designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus.
• The screening will use the Computer Based Test (CBT) method.
• Candidates must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled screening time.
• Go back online on Thursday 3RD OCTOBER 2024 to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule.

Required Documents

Candidates must bring the following to the Screening Centre:

• Acknowledgment slip
• Screening Invitation Slip with the screening schedule

UNIBEN Application Closing Date

• The application website closes at midnight on Sunday, 15th September 2024.
• All applications must be completed online by this date.
• Candidates who pay after the deadline will not be screened.
