Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife:

• Post Basic Midwifery Programme
• Post Basic Perioperative Nursing

Application for National Diploma in Nursing

Requirements

Applicants must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result will not be allowed to combine it with other results. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old as at January, 2023.

Eligibility for National Diploma in Nursing

• Have taken the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieved a minimum UTME score of 180.
• Select OAUTHC College of Nursing Science, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife / Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa as their preferred first-choice institution.
• It is essential for interested applicants to have appeared for the UTME with the following subject combination: English language, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
• Keep in mind that successful candidates could potentially be assigned to either of the campuses, Ife Hospital Unit or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, after admission.

Application Procedure

• Upload your O/Level results onto the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
• Choose either OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences, IHU, Ile-Ife, or Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State, as your first choice of institution.

1. Online Registration:

• Visit www.oauthc.com to access the institution’s website and complete your application form online.
• Scan and upload your birth certificate, O’level, and UTME results.
• After submitting the application, log back into your DASHBOARD to print the screening schedule (2 copies of the application form) for the Post UTME screening.

2. Payment Details:

• Pay a total of Eight Thousand Naira (₦8, 000.00) only, which covers the Post UTME screening exercise (₦2,000.00) and portal access fee (₦6,000.00).
• This payment provides access to the registration portal, date and venue confirmation for the screening exercise, checking of admission status, and printing of the admission letter.
• The payment should be made to the College’s account through a generated remita.

Mode of Post UTME Screening Exercise

This is by Computer Based Test (CBT) where candidates are tested on relevant subjects.

Date for Computer Based Test (CBT)

Computer Based Test shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee between Tuesday, 24^th and Thursday, 26^th October, 2023.

Application for Post Basic Midwifery

This is an 18 (eighteen) calendar month programme

Eligibility for Post Basic Midwifery

• Obtain a minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC: SSCE/GCE or NECO: SSCE/GCE or NABTEB.
• Ensure these credits are in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. All credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Possess a valid Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

NOTE: NABTEB result cannot be combined with results from other examination bodies.

Method of Screening Exercise

The screening exercise will be in two (2) phase as scheduled below

• Written Test – Tuesday, 26^th September, 2023.
• Oral Interview – Wednesday, 27^st September, 2023 and Thursday, 28^th September, 2023.

Application for Basic Perioperative Nursing

This is a 12 (Twelve) calendar month programme commencing November, 2023
