LAUTECH Releases Post UTME & DE Form for 2024/2025 Session | How to Apply

Ladoke Akintola Universit, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) invites applications from candidates who want to apply for admission into the Institution to register for the Post-UTME screening exercise. The post UTME and direct entry form is available starting from Monday, 5 August 2024.

Eligibility for LAUTECH Post UTME 2024

• JAMB Score: Candidates must score 170 or above in the 2024/2025 UTME.
• O’Level Requirements: Candidates need at least five credits in relevant subjects at no more than two sittings in SSCE, NECO, or NATEB.
• Specific Courses: For Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science, five credits must be obtained in one sitting.
• Age Requirement: Candidates should be at least 16 years old.
• LAUTECH will admit only candidates who passed at credit level in at least five (5) relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB for UTME, while the University accepts a minimum of Upper Credit for National Diploma candidates, NCE, HND, RNS and JUPEB for Direct Entry candidates
• Candidates awaiting results of NABTEB, NECO, and WASEC are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates must also upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and accept any admission offer through the JAMB portal.

How to Apply for LAUTECH Post UTME Form

Applicants are to pay the screening fee of ₦2,300.00 via the online portal using Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM)

• Candidates are to Visit http://apply.lautech.edu.ng/ 
• Applicants are expected to create an account and log in 
• Applicants are expected to carefully complete and submit the online application form as an incomplete application form will not be treated.
• Next, proceed to make payment
• Fill out the online form and upload a clear digital passport photograph with a white background (JPEG format, not more than 20kb).
• On submission of the application form, a candidate is to print out an acknowledgment page which assigns him/her the venue and date of the screening exercise.
• Any applicant with a blurred picture on the acknowledgment page will not be admitted into the screening centre as the photograph will be used as a means of identification.

Important Guidelines For Post UTME Candidates

• Acknowledgement Page:
  • All candidates must bring a color printout of the acknowledgement page to the screening venue.
  • Non-compliance will lead to non-admittance.
• Contact Information:
  • Applicants must provide active and valid email addresses and phone numbers.
  • This ensures seamless communication throughout the process.
• O’ Level Results Upload:
  • Candidates must upload their O’ Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) before formal admission.
• Secure Your Admission Offer:
  • Upon receiving an admission offer, candidates must accept or reject it on CAPS before the system’s closure.
  • This ensures inclusion in the JAMB National Matriculation list.
• Conditional Eligibility for Awaiting Results:
  • Candidates awaiting NABTEB, NECO, and WASC results can apply.
  • However, prompt upload of results on JAMB CAPS upon release is mandatory.
• Consistency in Documentation:
  • Ensure consistency in names and state of origin across all documents to avoid disqualification.
• Consequences of False Information:
  • Providing false information for admission can result in legal action and admission revocation.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must have obtained Direct Entry forms from JAMB to be eligible for the Additionally, oral and written interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, 10 September and Wednesday, 11 September 2024.

Candidates are expected to forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar, the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso no later than one week prior to the scheduled date for the screening interview

• Access the LAUTECH Admissions Portal:
  • Visit the official LAUTECH admissions portal at https://apply.lautech.edu.ng/.
  • Initiate the online registration and result verification process.
• Payment Details:
  • A non-refundable payment of ₦10,300 is required for online registration and result verification.
  • Payment can be made using Inter-Switch enabled Debit Cards (ATM).
• Complete Application Forms:
  • After successful payment, meticulously complete and submit the online application forms.
• Passport Photograph:
  • Upload a digital scanned passport photograph with a white background.
  • File format: JPEG; File size: Max 20KB.
• Acknowledgement Page:
  • Upon completion, print the acknowledgement page to confirm your successful application.
• Transcript Submission:
  • Forward academic transcripts to the LAUTECH Registrar a week before the scheduled interview.

  • Attendance at scheduled oral and written interviews is crucial for eligibility.
  • Failure to attend leads to forfeiture of admission eligibility.
