JAMB UTME Mock Results Released, New Date for 2023 UTME Fixed

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently released the results of the 2023 UTME Mock examination, which was conducted late March, 2023. The Mock exam, which is designed to familiarize candidates with the computer-based testing system, was administered in various designated centers across the country.

How to Check JAMB UTME Mock Results

Candidates who participated in the UTME mock can check their results by following this process.

• Visit https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEMockResults
• Enter your UTME Registration number or Email address
• Click on Check Mock Results

Your results should come up afterwards. Please note that your JAMB mock results has no direct effect on the main UTME result, as it’s just a preparatory test, however, it can serve as a means to know how well you have prepared for the coming JAMB UTME.

Rescheduled Mock-UTME Date Announced

JAMB has also announced a mop-up mock examination date for candidates who experienced technical difficulties during the test or missed the previous mock exam earlier conducted on Thursday, 30th March, 2023, in 725 centres across the country.

The Board’s mock examination was designed for the purpose of testing its preparedness and that of its partners for the UTME as well as give prospective candidates the opportunity to have hands-on experience of the CBT test environment.

It is, therefore, in order to give those candidates, who were unable to sit the examination owing to no fault of theirs, the opportunity to take the examination that the mock examination had been rescheduled to hold on Tuesday, 18th April, 2023.

Similarly, candidates who were present and screened for the examination but could not sit the examination have been rescheduled to retake the mock examination on Tuesday, 18th April, 2023.

New Date for 2023 JAMB UTME

In another development, The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced a new date for the commencement of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.

The board disclosed this in a statement signed by its Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in Abuja on Sunday.

Benjamin said the UTME which was earlier scheduled to commence on April 29, would now start on April 25, 2023.

Candidates are expected to expedite their preparations in order to be fully prepared for the examination.
