How to Check 2024 JAMB UTME Results Using Your Phone

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday, announced the release of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results which will be available for checking from Tuesday April 30th. 2024. Read on to the end to know how to check and ask questions in the comments section.

Candidates can now check their results from Tuesday, 30th April, 2024. Those who sat the examination but had challenges without being aware of such, would not see their results but would instead see their notification for rescheduled examination.

While giving an analysis of the results, Mr Oloyede said 8,401 candidates representing 0.5% scored 300 and above, and 77,070 candidates representing 4.2% scored 250 and above, 439,974 candidates, representing 24%, scored 200 and above, and 1,402,490 candidates, representing 76%, scored below 200. Also, the results of 1,842,464 candidates are ready while 64,624 results are under investigation,” he said.

Similarly, the examination body also noted that categories of candidates who had issues been promptly rescheduled for mop-up examinations.

How to Check UTME 2024 Results with Your Phone

As of now, the UTME 2024 results is being released in batches and can be checked via SMS as described below:

  1. Open your messaging App on your phone
  2. Type UTMERESULT and send to 55019
  3. The keyword should be typed together without space
  4. The service cost 50 naira
  5. You must use your registered phone number for this service.
  6. The result will be returned as SMS.

Candidates who have not seen their UTME result should check back later as the results are being released in batches. You can also check if you are rescheduled for Mop-Up examination.

How to Check UTME Results Without Phone Number

Those who have misplaced their phone number can check their results online via their JAMB portal. They however need to pay for the Original UTME results printing which cost around 2000 naira at CBT centres. You can also send us a message at the end of this post concerning this.

How to Link Email to JAMB Profile

Candidates are expected to link their email to their JAMB profile, in order to be able to access JAMB services on their portal, print results slip, and access JAMB CAPs portal and other services. However, this services can only be done at any accredited CBT centre in person – this means the candidate has to visit the cBT center himself/herself.

After linking the email, the candidate can confirm the email is properly linked by visiting https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng and login using the email and password given. The profile will show the candidate profile code at the top once logged in and properly linked.
