It is no longer news that the online registration portal for the OAU Post UTME is now active and ready to accept applications for the 2024 Admission. Although OAU has announced the release of 2024 Post UTME forms, some candidates do not know the proper way of online registration or the things needed. First thing to note is that only the candidates who has made the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their First Choice Institution in the 2024 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply.
How to Register for OAU Post UTME Online 2024

When will 2024 OAU Direct Entry Registration Start?
Direct Entry (DE) candidates are hereby informed that their registration for the 2024 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) screening exercise will commence on Monday, 19th August, 2024. Once their details are uploaded, they can proceed to register online.
They should note that, unlike the UTME candidates, they will not be undergoing any additional screening examination other than the verification of the credentials that they have uploaded. This means DE candidates only have to apply online and they will not be sitting for any exam. They also need to upload their results to JAMB Portal – we offer these services at AABECS and you don’t need to worry about the stress.
Can I still Change Institution to OAU?
Yes, you can still visit A CBT center during the registration period to change your first choice to OAU as soon as possible, in as much you scored 200 and above, however, you will need to wait for some days after the change before your name will be uploaded to the portal. Once you changed, you can consult us to stay updated or register.
Do I need to Register for OAU Post UTME If I’m a Predegree or OAU JUPEB Student?
The answer is Yes. OAU PRE-DEGREE students who have scored at least 200 and above and OAU JUPEB Candidates are expected to register online for their admission to be processed. ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE DULY REGISTERED ON THE PORTAL! However, Predegree students have the option to sit for the post UTME examination or not. Please note that the course chosen in Predgree must be the same as the one chosen on JAMB Portal.
Such candidates are also expected to upload their results to JAMB Portal.
Things Needed for OAU Post UTME Registration
Aspirant applying for OAU Post UTME is expected to have scored at least 200 in UTME, apart from that, the following will be needed:
- O’level Results (WAEC or NECO printed from the Exam Body Website. Format: Picture)
- Scratch card for checking the WAEC or NECO Results: This is needed during the result verification period
- Personal Details including Date of Birth, Marital Status, State and LG or Origin, Next of Kin Details, and so on.
- You must have uploaded your WAEC or NECO results to JAMB portal before applying, else you won’t be able to complete the application.
- Awaiting results should not apply.
- Price: The application costs around 8000 naira (5350 for form, remita, and cafe charges) depending on where you are registering from.
