How to Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS 2025

JAMB has now made it possible for candidates to confirm or decline their admission offers via SMS.

Here’s what you need to do: 

1.Make sure you have enough airtime on the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

2.Type your JAMB Registration Number, leave a space, then type ACCEPT or REJECT.

3.Send the message to 55019.

Example:

202512345678AB ACCEPT

202598765432CD REJECT

Keep checking your JAMB CAPS frequently so you’ll know the moment you’ve been offered admission and can take action immediately.

If you no longer have access to the phone number linked to your JAMB profile, visit the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to complete the process or message us to do it for you.

After accepting, proceed with payment and print your official JAMB Admission Letter.

Note: Admission letters can only be accessed after you accept your admission via SMS.
