The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening for admission into 2024/2025 academic session. The university invites applications from those seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200, or 300 levels for the 2024/2025 academic session, starting in October 2024.

General Requirements

• UTME: Candidates must choose FUNAAB as their most preferred institution on the JAMB form, score a minimum of 160 in the 2024/2025 UTME, and write the exam.
• Applicants need at least five O’Level credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Check the FUNAAB Admission Requirements before filling out the application form.
• DE: Candidates must have a minimum of Upper Credit or equivalent and choose FUNAAB as their most preferred institution on the JAMB form. They must submit their transcripts or certified statements of results to the Registrar by Friday, 6th September 2024.

Guidelines for Online Application

• Go to the FUNAAB Admission Portal and enter your JAMB UTME or Direct Entry Registration Numbers to generate your Application Invoice.
• Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 at any bank accepting REMITA or online using a debit card or Internet Banking via the Remita website.
• Return to the University’s Admission Portal to log in and fill out the e-application form. Your personal details from JAMB’s portal will be displayed and cannot be altered. Ensure all other information is entered correctly.
• Review your application on the last page (acknowledgement page), confirm all entries, and then submit.
• Print out the Application Form, which will display your passport photograph.
• Correction of errors after submission will attract a fee of ₦1,500 and must be made before the closing date. See correction details.

Important Notes

• Candidates can express interest in Part-time (weekday evenings) options if available. Details are at the FUNAAB Part-Time Portal.
• Direct Entry candidates must submit transcripts to the Registrar by Friday, 6th September 2024.
• Only completed applications before the deadline will be considered.
• Ensure you meet all requirements before payment. Admissions will be withdrawn if requirements are not met, and fees are non-refundable.

FUNAAB Post UTME Form Closing Date and Screening Info

• Application runs from Thursday, 1st August 2024, and closes on Friday, 13th September 2024.
• Successful candidates will receive admission through JAMB’s Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and must participate in an ICT Training and Orientation Programme to prepare for university life.
