Ekiti State University (EKSU) Releases Screening Form for The Newly Approved Programmes for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, is inviting applications for the screening of UTME candidates interested in admission to its newly approved Medical Biochemistry programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. JAMB UTME Score: Candidates must have a minimum score of 200 in the 2024 UTME.
  2. O’Level Requirements:
    • At least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the following subjects:
      • English Language
      • Mathematics
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
    • Credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  3. JAMB Subjects Combination:
    • Use of English
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Biology
NOTE: Candidates who did not initially choose EKSU as their first choice but are ready to change to EKSU on the JAMB CAPS are also eligible to apply.

Instructions for EKSU Supplementary Application

To apply for the screening exercise, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Application Portal:
    Go to eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng, click on ADMISSION, and you will be redirected to the online application portal.
  2. Sign Up:
    • Provide your active email address and personal phone number.
    • A verification email will be sent to your registered email.
  3. Log In:
    • Use your correct email or JAMB registration number as your username and the password you created during sign-up.
  4. Select Application Type:
    • Choose 2024/2025 PUTME Application.
    • For candidates who selected EKSU as their first choice, your information will auto-populate.
    • Candidates who did not choose EKSU will need to fill in their details manually, starting with their JAMB registration number.
  5. Payment for PUTME Screening Form:
    • Click PAY NOW to make an online payment.
  6. Complete the Form:
    • Upload a 1” x 1” coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
    • Upload your O’Level result(s) from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (maximum of two sittings).
  7. Submit Your Application:
    • Preview your information, confirm its accuracy, and submit your completed screening form.

Important Notes

  • No examination: There will be no examination for this screening.
  • Candidates who fail to participate in the screening process will not be considered for admission.
  • Providing false information will result in automatic disqualification.
