ABUAD ODL Admission Form for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the ODL Programmes of Afe  Babalola University, Ado Ekiti for the 2025/2026 Academic Session as indicated below:

Afe Babalola University ODL Admission Requirements 

Bsc. Intelligence and Security Studies

Admission Requirements for 100 Level students

Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credit at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Government and any two of Arts and Social Science subjects.

Admission Requirements for Direct Entry students

Candidates must possess the Advanced Level (A Level) General Certificate of Education, or its equivalent, in at least two subjects, which must include Government, History or Economics. Holders of OND, NCE, HND, BSc, or BSc. Ed., B.A, or B.A Ed., in related/relevant discipline shall be considered.

Course Duration

100 level (O’Level): Four (4) years.

This is four (4) sessions of two (2) semesters each

Direct Entry: Three (3) years

This is three (3) sessions of two (2) semesters each

Bsc. Economics

Admission Requirements for 100 Level students

Candidate must possess Five (5) O’Level credit at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant social science subjects.

Admission Requirements for Direct Entry students

Candidates must possess the Advanced Level (A Level) of General Certificate of Education, or its equivalent, in Mathematics, Economics and any other social science subject. Holders of OND, NCE, HND, Bsc.., or Bsc Ed., B.A. or B.A. Edu. Discipline shall be considered for Direct Entry (200 Level) Admission.

Course Duration

100 level (O’Level): Four (4) years.

This is four (4) sessions of two (2) semesters each

Direct Entry: Three (3) years

This is three (3) sessions of two (2) semesters each

Bsc Business Administration

Admission Requirements for 100 Level students

Candidate must possess Five (5) O’Level credit at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant social science subjects.

Admission Requirements for Direct Entry students

Candidates must possess the Advanced Level (A Level) of the General Certificate of Education, or its equivalent, in Mathematics, Economics, and any other relevant social science subject. Holders of OND, NCE, HND, Bsc., or Bsc. Ed., B.A. or B.A. Edu. Discipline shall be considered for Direct Entry (200 Level) Admission.

Bsc. Computer Science

Admission Requirements for 100 Level students

Candidate must possess Five (5) O’Level credit at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two relevant science subjects.

Admission Requirements for Direct Entry students

Candidates must possess the Advanced Level (A Level) of General Certificate of Education, or its equivalent, in Mathematics, Physics and any other science subject. Holders of OND, NCE, HND, Bsc.., or BSc. Ed., Discipline shall be considered for Direct Entry (200 Level) Admission.

Course Duration

100 level (O’Level): Four (4) years.

This is four (4) sessions of two (2) semesters each

Direct Entry: Three (3) years

This is three (3) sessions of two (2) semesters each

B.NSc. Nursing

Admission Requirements for Direct Entry students

Candidates must possess the RN or RM Certificates from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria

Course Duration

Direct Entry: Four (4) years

This is four (4) sessions of two (2) semesters each

Msc Finance

Candidate must satisfy the matriculation requirements of the University, including credits in English Language and Mathematics.

First Degree Requirements

Candidates with a minimum of a second-class lower division, bachelor’s degree in Finance from an approved university shall be considered for admission. Additionally, degree holders in accounting and economics with a minimum second-class lower division and candidates with distinction in a postgraduate diploma in relevant disciplines from an accredited university will also be considered.

Course Duration

Three academic semesters.
